Wonder Woman is a DC Comics superheroine & member of the Justice League who first appeared in All Star Comics #8 (Dec. 1941). She is one of the first female superheroes. In most adaptations she is Princess Diana of the Amazon warrior tribe (Greek mythology) & has several superhuman gifts from the Greek gods including the Lasso of Truth & indestructible silver bracelets.
